Called in to service a Scottman ice machine, they told us over the phone that there would be no charge if the tech determined the work was covered under warranty. Tech came and determined it was under warranty. Part was not in stock so he ordered the part (a flapper, which is a small piece of plastic that not even 1 lbs). After the part was replaced, I was charged over $100 for FREIGHT charge only because they did not have the part in stock and needed to order it from Scottman. The part was not in stock is not our fault. They also did not let us know upfront about the outrageous freight charge at all. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!

This company is extremely dis-organized. I had appointment schedule on Monday and after calling them 4 times during day, I was told they will come in on tuesday before noon. On tuesday they never showed up again and finally came on Wednesday without giving any notice. On top of it their service call charges depend on how much time it take them to travel from last place. Which frankly is not in our control. They are extremely expensive and not worth a penny. Better look somewhere else for service.
