A not too strenuous trail up the dune to two platforms with spectacular views of the Lake. Arcadia Dunes to the left and the Frankfort Lighthouse to the right.

We did the loop in early November. The colors were beautiful. There was a variety of different terrain to keep it interesting. Nice elevation changes and the views from both look out points were fantastic. It was our favorite hike that we did that weekend.

This hike was great. The views and forest scenes are wonderful. It is posted as 2 miles but it is closer to over 3 if you do it all. Know that this is an intermediate hike with a lot of rugged trail and climbing. My friend accused me of taking them on a hike for Mountain goats. It is not something to do with a stroller. The stairs to the beach have washed out so no beach access. There is also a fair amount of poison ivy off trail, so stay on the trail and you're fine in that regard.

Fantastic hike!! Nice little workout with elevation changes but still fine for kids. A few amazing lookout points and access to beach .
