Love visiting this lighthouse. It's relaxing with plenty of seating plus the kids have things they can do and see.

A very nice beach that feels like it's the heart of Frankfort. The views are spectacular , especially when storming or 🌇. The sand is pristine and one of my favorite things is the plethora of benches. Normally your lucky for 4 or 5. It feels like there's 80+ here. Watching the large waves crash into the pier creating giant splashes is an awesome sight. The lighthouse at the end of the pier is very nice, nothing spectacular, but a classic none the less. There always seems to be people surfing and sailboarding. Plus people playing with kites. Overall an easy 5 star review! Would I return? You betcha!

Who says you gotta be In tropical climate to be at a beautiful beach, the sand feels so good on your feet, the breeze coming from Lake Michigan, volleyball, swings, playground so many benches for enjoying the views. This is definitely one of my favorite beaches, and I didn’t even mention how beautiful the light house is, especially at sunset 🌅

Beautiful beach with downtown nearby, and sidewalks, beach volleyball nets, and other accommodations standing ready to make your trip here fun. The inner side of the breaker was very calm, and you could walk out to the range light if you watch your step. There is a light they recently put in place to let you know how safe it is to walk out there at any given time so you can make an informed choice.

I haven't seen any signs saying you cant!
You have to go down to the water and walk to the right (going north on the shoreline)
