I'm new to the Texas planting zone (8) coming from planting zone (5-6). In search of guidance I found Tammy at Calloways. Thankful for assistances from Tammy, Cindy and another young lady (I didn't catch her name :-)). Fall vegetables hadn't arrived yet to place in my greenhouse [I've checked twice this week] so instead I picked up rosemarys, ivy, seeds to start & a mosquito plant ~ yea I know it won't work but I'm going to try it. Those buggers & I are at war. Anywho, I didn't get to spend too long here as much as I wanted to. But I was impressed the aisles were clear, clean, well stocked and organized. And majority of the plants appeared healthy, watered and maintained. Loved the air plants, their good hand size and the price is less than expected. They have my ph# now and I guess I'm getting points for purchases. I'll swing in from time to time when I come into town. Thanks again.

I love Calloways and I’ve been to many locations throughout DFW. The Hurst store is my “home” store and the people who work there are so kind and helpful. I went today and one of the young ladies immediately recognized my dog and I from our last visit 3 months ago! She remembered that the last time she saw us that it was my dogs birthday and that we were buying grass and she also remembered the collar he was wearing because of the sushi pattern! She let him go back behind the cashier desk with her and loved on him so I could have both hands free to checkout. I always have the best experience here and highly recommend.

All of our team members are required to wear masks at all times and take a temperature check. We clean each of our cash stands, tables, carts, and every high-touch surface multiple times a day. Yes we do but not at this time. We are starting reciever spring merchandise and will carry it throughout summer. It's a very popular items and we sell out regularly but we receive shipments weekly
