The tech I had was thorough, but she was very short and rude with me at every request I had for my annual MRI. I asked for music, last year's machine was broken and Envision replaced it, she refused due to my breathing instructions. I think it should be my choice, since it's my money and customer experience on the line here. My insurance denied a pelvic MRI from my GI saying it should've been from my OBGYN, okay fine, BUT NOBODY TOLD ME. You told my GI that you'd tell me and you never told me. She had an opinion on that too, saying I don't need it...like she has any clue about my endometriosis diagnosis in the first place. I was left crying in the dressing room for 20 minutes, hurt and confused. The receptionist was the only reason why this wasn't one star. She had purple hair and fun glasses, the sweetest person I interacted with the entire visit.

Currently, we do not have an Open MRI. Our South Arlington and Bryant Irvin locations has the Oval which is a 74cm bore allowing patients to go in feet-first for all exams. Please call our center and ask to speak to an Area Manager, we would be very happy to assist you.

Hi Wiley! Normally, when a doctor faxes an order, we will reach out to the patient to schedule an appointment. Sometimes, the referring physician will call us directly to schedule an appointment for the patient. If we have not already reached out to you, and you would like to give our center a call, we would be very happy to confirm your order and set an appointment for you.
Hi Jerry, thank you so much for the question! Unfortunately, we cannot perform an MRI with patients in a sitting position. This is due to having a high field magnet which takes better quality of images. Having patients lie down reduces the chances of any motion, which will affect the image quality. You are very welcome to reach out to us and come by the center if you wish. Our center manager, Jeannie, would be delighted to give you a tour of our MRI unit and the option to speak with a registered technologist to answer and other questions or concerns you may have. Hi Lacey, thank you so much for your question! Unfortunately, patients are not permitted to record their exams due to HIPAA regulations. If the ultrasound is for an OB evaluation however, our technologists are very happy to provide images. Hope this helps!
Mine was about 20 mins in the MRI machine. I had a lumbar/spine MRI. Your time might vary depending on what you're scanning?
