I took my vehicle in a year ago due to the brake pedal feeling squishy when pressed and was told it just needed a computer adjustment. On 8/30/2022, I was having the same issue and I took it in on 8/31/2022. I was told the master cylinder needed to be replaced. I told the person on the phone about my last visit and he said he did not check it so he would have to check it himself. He called me about 30 minutes later and confirmed it was the master cylinder and told me it would be ready that day. The vehicle was not completed and I had to leave it for two days. That Friday, I received a call from Mack's stating the master cylinder was installed but they found another issue, a sensor. I asked if there was a possibility that the sensor was bad and not the master cylinder based on my last visit. While explaining the issue the gentleman stopped and told me to hold while the mechanic talked to him. When he came back, he told me to forget everything he just said and the sensor was good. Not to mention the part was triple the price of what Autozone had it for. When I asked the gentleman stated they did not install that brand, but I could sign a waiver if I wanted to buy the part at autozone and bring it in for install. Also, when I got the call about the sensor, that was going to be another $600 and the part would not be in for 2-3 business days. To top it off, when I showed up to pick up the car, the inside was ransacked. A few workers came out and said that another vehicle was broken into and mine must of been broken into as well. I did not see any signs on the exterior that would signify someone forcing their way in. When I stated that, one of the workers stated that they were told to leave the vehicles unlocked to keep thiefs from breaking windows or causing other damages if trying to break into the cars. I was told to call back the following Tuesday, after the labor day holiday, to let them know if anything was missing.
