They can transmission work,but not the body work. For body work there's Ellis county auto in north Waxahachie

I have 2006 ford f150 4.2 v-6. The transmission down shifts on its own when I exit off the highway and it's still in drive. It has 260k miles on it. Is the transmission going out?
