We had our waivers and email confirmation number for our purchase pulled up and ready. The lady who checked us in was nice. Then we drove up to the vehicle search location. We got out and they looked in our bags, cooler, glovebox, etc. Nothing was disrupted. It’s a shame they have to do this so we didn’t mind. It took less than 3 min. Parking is close to the area where we launched our boards. You’d be best off to just take floats. It’s not a huge lake so we just laid on our paddle boards. We had a great time. It was very relaxing and the feeling of community was great. People cheered each other on to gain courage to jump from the platforms! My best advice it to read their website and do what they ask.

this place is beautiful. however, i understand having a strict no refund policy but the attitude and disrespect showcased by a staff member left a bad taste in my mouth. there is a way to talk to people with out being argumentative, abusive, showing nothing but disrespect and instead showing some empathy and understanding for peoples circumstances while still being firm on your policies. judging by other reviews this seems to be a reoccurring theme of this place.... you should absolutely enter at your own risk, and have 0 expectations of having a friendly experience with a staff members

it’s a shame this place is just a money grab instead of an actual community center. their no refund policy is ridiculous. storms popped up randomly after we bought tickets & and of course no refunds. the fact that they don’t even do rain checks goes to show they only care about making money. maybe the owners should take constructive criticism and listen to community members instead of doubling down on their backwards policies. and $35 is an absolutely absurd price to pay. do better

If I could give it a zero I would. After an hour and half drive I’ve never dealt with such rude people. We didn’t stay and they don’t refund your money. Guess I missed that part. They’re very uptight and totally agree with others reviews much better places to swim. Their “search” was VERY invasive. Their staff super rude. Don’t waste your time or money.
