A quiet place to drown bait and maybe catch a fish.

Beautiful, calming, and almost deserted - photogenic, for sure.

Great place to get out and relax. Fishing is so so, but it's not always about how many you catch
Corey Plunkett

Yes. The Department of Natural Resources, stocks the lale yearly with an assortment of fish. The proceeds from our fishing licenses pays for it. They are grown in hatcheries and not always the same variety but I know walleye have been stocked. There are 3 lakes, the eastern two are stocked with the larger game fish. The new regulations over turtles are making them a nuisance there lately.

Yes. No fishing at night, camping or fires. They are regulated by DNR a lot, from 11pm till the sun comes up they are closed. I never caught a carp there, but seen one floating that looked like something took a big bite of it
