I cant possibly find the words to let MacKenzie Veronica and Bianca and Elaine what they're kindness has done for me and my dogs. Finally after 5 years of being homeless we've got a beautiful place to call home. The work these ladies do daily is amazing. Sincerely a huge thank you is not enough but all I can do.!!

How do I get on the waiting list?
If you are a military veteran, contact the local vets office in downtown SLO. Am not sure if the exact address, but they are located I believe on Morro(?)road, across from the parking structure(which is behind the post office). They will assign you a Case Manager who will take care of food, medical and any other needs you may be having. Have known several vets over the last few years,and once they get services they beam with pride! Veterans are a priority on housing wait lists so once they get on the list, they go to the top bumping others down. They have the shortest wait list time. A Vet Case manager will set up vets in both immediate short term temp housing and then into permanent housing.
Monday thru Thursday 8-5pm and open every other Friday.. (Closed this Friday)

Yes I'm I terested to know that also. I believe there are federal Grant's for housing but I don't know the soecifics.
