I use to be here years ago. Omega, Rosetta, Dennis, Billy, Mike, Jackie P. , Charles all these people worked here. I wad mandated through jail cook county. It was alright. As I stated this has been years ago. I felt like because I was mandated I had to what I was told but me being who I am didn't last long. Lop lost of privileges.

I'm very disappointed with Gateway this time in how some of the staff is treating the women to recover, it's totally ridiculous and wrong if I'm not mistaken the staff is suppose to help them not lower their self-esteem. Especially when the patient knows their medications in what to take and not to take from their doctors. It's bullcrap! And how some of the staff members talk to the patient like their in jail or something. Last time I put my daughter there a few years ago and it was fabulous, but since 04/18/22 it's like I'm not satisfied with it. Somethings needs to help them to get better. They are in Gateway for recovery to better themselves not discourage them. And talk to them like dogs. I have heard how the one person was talking. It was wrong! Concern mom!!

Went to this place on June 16th 2021. Changed my life , great staff , rooms are decent, great food , etc. Spent 28 days in treatment , 45 days in recovery. I'm now going on a year sober . Highly recommend this place to someone who's not afraid of change and what's to get healthy. Addiction is no joke and this place his a awesome start to a better life...

Counselors did a good job overall. Food was great. Building could use some maintenance.

Yeah i have a Florida id and they accepted it no problem
Is there a meeting tomorrow and what time do it start
Yes they do
Don't go here
Are you looking for a detox followed by a 30-day program or just the detox
Depends on insurance
Any time there is a pay phone
Yes they do, and there is two time options being morning and evening groups. Morning outpatient is 9:30am through 12:30pm, and the night groups are from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Not sure if you are still looking to go to outpatient but for anyone else that is windering and comes across this answer, I would like to leave a comment saying yes, they do have an intensive outpatient program. Someone answered the question and said "No" but that's not correct I've been in the groups myself so don't question it and just call to figure out when you can sign up for outpatient.
Yes they take medicad
Yes
No, unfortunately you can't call a patient. However a patient can call YOU, but the only way to let them know is to call the specific facility & ask to leave a message for that person. (Also, don't be surprised or offended if they tell you that they can't confirm or deny if the person is even there; it's only bc the laws are SUPER strict abt this stuff).
Yes should call to make sure
