I received a summons to appear and will be out of town. I called the court house and they telll me they can't tell me anything about this and i have to come in person. Well I live about an hour away from this court house and it just doesn't make sense to not be able to talk to someone about this over the phone or email on the rescheduling. It's quite a waste of time to accommondate people who are suppose to serve you. I just can't believe in these times that a person has to spend a half day just to change a date

man you think i’m giving a court house 5 stars?

Yes depending on what you need done
Security held on to my phone while I went to handle stuff at the clerks office (took me 2hours)...when I was done got my phone back and went on my way...their pretty understanding you just have to explain the situation...hope that helps!😊
Sounds to me like you're covid positive and are unable to attend jury duty
Don't do it!
when does court reopen?
Call the Public Defender's office
Yes
Yes
The courthouse is open to the public, but I'm not sure if there is a tour. You will have to go through a security checkpoint.
The traffic room is located on the first floor. First large hallway to your left after you pass thru security. There are two doors on your left, once in the hallway. 1 of them might be locked so check both to the courtroom. There's really only 1 main entrance to the courthouse that has two revolving doors and a handicap door as well.
Yes go online to will county court records, it will help if you know your case number, and your info will pop up.
Yes
I was just there & did not see any signs saying that u cant bring someone. But I can't b positive as i was only on main floor for clerk office. Hope this helps. Also there is a big touch screen computer outside courthouse has alot of info & rules on it use finger to activate
It depends on the Judge. Your best bet would be to call the courthouse and inquire about the specific judge.
You have to go across the street to the main courthouse on the 1st floor to pay a ticket. 100 west Jefferson St
Yes in front and the side of the building it's street parking and a parking garage down the street
Honestly, I have No Clue. Somebody at Clerks Office should have Answers
I know there is cost for both parties how much I'm unsure there are options for you both and it varies by jurisdiction I'd say call them Monday.
Usually based off your drivers license information or voter's registration.
Haven't tried the e-filing but their web page is slower than usual
You have the wrong office that is from the county clerk not circuit clerk. Different office.
File a motion that your judge would hear. The court should be able to take care of your request if it's appropriate.
2nd floor, circuit clerks office. Has to be a damn good reason, though.
Go to the clerk's office and they will pull up your case and give you all the numbers you need. That is of course if you have a case. If you don't currently have an open case I don't think that you need that information to file a case.
File a motion asking for it to stop, get a court date, serve the papers to her and attorney general if they are involved, go to court. Bring in all documents showing he graduated.
Motions in an open case are free to file
Will county sheriff website
Better off going to the court office and looking on computers in the clerks office first !!!! Payong fines and then seeing the judge if need be
