Went there to vote the Primary. County. Lots of security by Sheriffs officers. Had to go through metal detector. Will be back there for the general election.

Depends on where you were born. If Will County, then this is the place, otherwise in Chicago, you might need to google it
You do not need an appointment to have documents notarized. However, the Will County Clerk's Office only notarizes documents pertaining to this office.
If you go to the will county clerk website it will tell you. It can be ordered online.
I've always gone to my bank or the library for notary works. But I believe you should be able to do it there.

Have you tried an app like document finder? The death certificate won't show where they were buried. Also, If you know the town she lived in search that local newspaper of that time. It might be at the library on microfiche.
Yes, the Will County Clerk's Office has Marriage Certificates for anyone who was married in Will County. The records begin July 1836. The cost for one certified copy is $9.00 and $4.00 for additional copies of the same record. For more information visit thewillcountyclerk.com.
The Will County Clerk's Office does not have a certification of single status. We do have a certificate of no record found for marriage. It’s a $9.00 fee. You will need to come into our office and show ID. We then search to make sure there is no marriage record.
