Amazing selection of fresh seafood and land lubbers fare But the exotic drink selection with so many local craft brews added to the best beach side view in York makes this a must visit restaurant You can get just ice cream at the take out window of which I got here when a child in the 1960s !

We came to stay in York, Maine for Fourth of July. After driving around and exploring York we came across this cute restaurant looking out into the water. Food was AMAZING!!! Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name) was so nice and accommodating! She made sure our food came out right and checked on us several times. (She actually might remember us but we cleaned our table and stacked our plates to help out.) Haha she laughed and was so surprised! I had told her how appreciative we were of her and she gave me a hug!! We live in Boston, Mass and would definitely make a day trip to come back to Maine just for the beaches and this cute restaurant!!

Full Disclosure: Offseason stay in the middle of June. Friendly staff. And surprisingly decent sea food. Got the scallops one day and the lobster roll the second. Food was great. Drinks were great. My biggest complaint, and this would be nitpicking the hell out of this restaurant, but on busy weekends (such as, 1 or 2 weddings where the Inn across the street has no vacancy) you would think, even though it's offseason, the restaurant may want to adjust their hours, or put more staff on the schedule. Because kicking paying customers out of your restaurant at 8PM because the bartender doesn't want to make anymore drinks, sounds like a bad busines model. I have money to spend, and no one to take it. And this is June 17th. It's not like it's February 1st. Maybe some coordination with the hotel, would allow for better planning Just a thought. Great views from the deck.

Great for breakfast. Very large breakfast portions. Dinner is also good. The place to go when enjoying a stay at the Anchorage in York beach.

Yes, 8 am to 8 pm. Breakfast is from 8 am to 11 am and lunch and dinner menu is from 11:30 am to 8 pm.
I don't think there are many gluten free choices. Loster roll and fried clams are the specialty and those all are with gluten. I would call ahead. I suspect even the fries are cooked in the same oil as the battered fish, and so will have traces of gluten.
They do not have twin lobsters on their summer 2021 menu but they do have lobster
Hi, Sorry we don't have steamers!
We follow all the required procedures by State of Maine, regarding covid-19
The dining room is open and decks are open weather permitting. We are open everyday for lunch and dinner and breakfast on the weekends. You can check the Google listing or Facebook for accurate open hours.
Per Federal regulations and local health codes, only ADA compliant service animals are permitted in the restaurant.
Pick one...or two their all good..
Usually dishwashers and 'busboys' are young. In all restaurants, if your job requires a knife you have to use, that usually means you have to be 18.
I know they are open Monday -Thursday 7-5
