This past Wednesday, while out for Pokemon Dinner Raid Hour, the gym at this location at first glance seemed very Pokemon friendly, as shown photo below. Imagine our surprise when we were greeted by one member of said church who from the start had an attitude saying "Should come into our church, we'd be glad to have you" which minus the attitude would have been inviting. However the attitude with the combination of "Thank you for using our parking lot" in a very crass form was anything BUT inviting. There are 2 gyms to hit from this parking lot, and we ensured to park to the outside of a fairly empty parking lot to not interfere with church happening. We then move to the other side of the parking lot, again parked to outside of lot to not interefere yet again to church go-ers. It was at this point that we had our photos taken, again, not inviting and quite rude. My husband, myself and our fellow Pokemon group did not appreciate this at all. All the happenings of the last bit of our raid hour brought to light a few things. The main of which being that as a church go-ers ourselves, my husband, children and I will never set foot in this church if this is how the members of the church are. Also makes note that the church portrays false expectation of how this church is ran. Do not include the Pokemon factor in your sign to seem inviting to Pokemon players if the congregation in fact wants to ridicule the game community.
