Not sure why they have you book a 8:30am appointment time then having you waiting untill almost 2-3pm to get your service done. I will find a different provider that’s more prompt

Great staff! From beginning to end everyone makes you feel safe and comfortable. Couldn’t of asked for a better experience seeing the circumstances.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I am so glad to hear that you had a positive experience.
We will absolutely work with you if you do not have a state ID. It would be a good idea to bring your school ID with you to your visit. I hope this helps!
At your visit you will have the chance to speak with a medical professional about your specific medical history, and they will review the procedure you are requesting with you. They can also speak with you in depth about the risks and benefits of the procedure. Please know that you will not be judged because of your medical history. Abortion is a very safe medical procedure. The National Abortion Federation has more information about the safety of abortion: https://prochoice.org/think-youre-pregnant/common-questions-and-myths/ I hope this helps.
We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. I would encourage you to provide us with your insurance information before your visit because we can check your benefits and let you know ahead of time if you have a copay that will be due at your visit. We offer the Mirena, Paragard and Skyla IUD devices at FPA. I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other insurance questions.
We offer procedures on an out-patient basis. If you are having a procedure that requires 2-3 days you will go home and return to the office each day. If you live more than one hour away from the office you should make arrangements to stay within one hour of the office while you are having your procedure. I hope this helps.
We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. It will depend on your particular plan how much you will have to pay out of pocket for your care. I would encourage you to provide us with your insurance information before your visit because we can check your benefits and let you know ahead of time if you have a copay that will be due at your visit. It does not matter what state you live in, this does not impact your insurance coverage. I hope this helps!
We do offer the medication abortion up to 10.0 weeks in addition to the procedure up to 23.5 weeks. We also offer birth control consultations, IUD insertions and removals, infection checks and annual gynecological exams. I hope this helps!
We recommend that you make an appointment for services. In most cases the procedure can be provided in one day if you have a scheduled appointment. There are instructions that you need to be provided so that you can prepare for your visit, that is why we ask that you make an appointment. I hope this helps.
Patients who are under the age of 18 need to inform an adult family member that they have decided to have an abortion (a parent, grandparent, step-parent living in the same home or a legal guardian). The adult family member does not have to come with the patient to the visit. They can sign a letter and the patient can bring that to the visit or a staff member can call the family member before the appointment an notify them over the phone (this must be done at least 48 hours before the visit). If the patient feels they cannot speak with a family member they can contact the ACLU and go through the process of obtaining a judicial bypass (http://www.ilbypass.org/). The cost depends on which procedure will be provided. Insurance can help to reduce a patient's out of pocket cost for care. Please have the patient give us a call for more information. Illinois Medicaid does cover abortion care in full. If a patient has misplaced their card we can help the patient look up their number.

Hello Jocelyn, We encourage patients to have a support person with them for their appointment. Unfortunately, for the privacy of all of our patients and the safety of our staff we cannot have your guest join you during the medical parts of your visit. They can join you for your admitting session and of course they can be with you in the waiting area. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
