Questions & Answers

Do you have service on Wednesdays?

ŪLA ZAIT | Oct 6, 2018
Tiffany Shrock | Oct 6, 2018

I attend McKinney. No, there is not persay a service on Wednesday because we have small groups where we meet in each other's homes and do a bible study. That gives is a much closer one on one opportunity to get involved with the Word as well as our church community. Alo g with our small groups, we always have something going on. Classes foe marriage, parenting, at risk youth. I think you should check it out!

Yes. Very much so! There are greeters in the parking lot, at the doors, and at the guest kiosks. We love having new people here!

Is this a Baptist Church?

Charlene Kurtz | Oct 6, 2019
Matt Karls | Oct 6, 2019

Doxology is not a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, so if that is your definition of a Baptist Church it is not. Their theology is Baptist and by that metric one could say they are a non denominational Baptist Church. If you profess to be a Baptist or believe in Baptist theology you will fit in fine and like the church.

I've been seeing a lot of vacation bible schools going on lately and was wondering if that was happening here? Also, I don't recall having to pay for child when I went oh so many yrs ago....is it still free?

McKinney does VBS BIG, and subsidizes most of it, not including the army of volunteers and extra hours the church staff puts in for free. There is a small fee per child, but I assure you it is worth it! For more info & to register go to website and menu, click "ministries" and then "children" and scroll down.
