The volunteers are nice, I'm grateful for anything I get, but the food quality is different. They used to give lots of fruit and veggies. Now it's canned goods from unknown brands that you have to cook them along time cause the veggies are hard to chew. They give lots of processed baked goods and frozen meat that are freezer burned sometimes. You may get a good brand that you recognize from time to time. Either way times are hard and I'm thankful cause I don't get snap. Just hope they give food that is healthy again.

I volunteer at the food pantry on Saturday mornings. The staff work hard, are friendly and very helpful.

Been going here for food assistance since March 2020. Last time I went (Nov 2021) I realized the quality has declined so badly, that I almost stop going. It's not worth it like it was a year ago. I know the judgy kind who clutch their pearls will berate me for not being grateful, but expired, moldy handouts are off-putting. I'm tired of the expired dairy and thawed, questionable seafood. And the bizarre amounts of hard, inedible expired bakery items. So frustrating. I reject the items I won't use, and leave them in the cart and drive off, hoping it ends up helping someone else. I steadily go to a few distributions every month, but this one is extremely hit or miss. The best week was when I got a huge box of hello fresh. Wish that happened again! The woman who punched your card is like a warden, a huge stickler, and very rude at times.
