Due to an accident I cut the tip of my finger. ER couldn’t stop the bleeding for 8 hours and the got rid of the tip saying that it was impossible to save it. After seeing multiple specialists I’ve met Dr. Shayfer even though the Dr said it’s hard to save my finger he did. He saved it and made it work. I appreciate the reconstructive surgery he performed and saved my finger. Highly recommend to see him and his stuff. Stay safe!

Dr Shayfer gave my husband Cortisone shot in his knee where it was swollen instead of draining the water and then he sent him home to see him in 3 weeks. The pain was really bad and there was still huge swelling. A week later we called the dr again and asked for an MRI. Waited another week for the MRI. After Dr Shayfer looked the MRI he talked to us over the phone and he suggested wave shocks in his office and knee implant in the future and said the fluid is in the bones and can not be drained. Mind you when we were in his office he took an X-ray and said it’s not that bad. We were the ones to ask for an MRI and turns out he may need a knee replacement in the future. Also, the wave shocks he suggested to be done in his office he said insurance doesn’t pay and told us each wave would cost us about 250 dollars and he needs 4 of them. Come to find out other places do it for 60 dollars however, my husband doesn’t need it. Well we decided to go for a second opinion and the first thing the dr did was drain 1 cup of fluid then injected gel in his knee where his bone Cartilage was worn out and my husband immediately felt good. The injection is called “Synvisc one hylan G-F 20. He started walking with no pain after the drainage and the gel shot. Even my husband’s physical therapy was shocked that dr Shayfer had not drain the water nor had given him the gel injection. 3 weeks my husband was suffering because we trusted dr Shayfer. Even when I called and asked them if they can put a rush on the MRI report as my husband is suffering the office girl said it’s up to me to call the imaging place and talk to them. Really? All I can say we saw so much difference between dr Shayfer and the dr we went to.
