This place has an extremely knowledgeable staff, with a wide selection of snakes, lizards, and other reptiles. There were several parrots there, also.

Excellent store! Each representative was a wealth of knowledge and extremely friendly! Billy in particular went above and beyond to help me! I can’t wait to get my terrarium set up!

I wanted to give constructive criticism because I LOVE this place so much. You can't find a reptile store quite like this in DFW so I hope yall take this to heart. I feel like customer service used to he better back in the day. I feel kinda rushed and that I'm bothering the staff by asking questions. I got overwhelmed not really knowing where things are and I felt like I had to work super hard to get all the answers and help I needed. I wish when I had told yall what animals I was making sure I had that yall would have taken the time to walk me over to your products and show me options like yall used to. You guys are so knowledgeable and I wish that was displayed better. It wasn't busy, there were a lot of staff and it was a Tuesday. The staff was mostly behind the counter chatting except one gentlemen might be the owner, he was busy but still made sure someone was grabbing something for me. Not terrible customer service but really could be better! I didn't feel like yall were very approachable and yall would tell me the name of a product and then look away and I'd be like "Okay what and where is that..." A guy (I think Drew is his name) pointed me back to find a bag of soil that was small enough for a mantis (I didn't want to buy so much soil for a small bug) and I went where he told me and looked and looked and looked. One of the employees back there was taking inventory and I asked her where that was. She showed me the soil bag but it was the large size that I didn't want and she said "Oh yeah we haven't been able to get that in" (so obviously theres a disconnect between staff) so I wasted my time looking thinking I was just not seeing it when it would have been so much faster to just walk me back, realize you didn't have it, and then go from there. I just wish yall were more approachable and eager to educate. I felt like yall were not wanting to be bothered. Even when I walked in there was no eye contact and a "how can I help you" mumbled with head down. I started replying also wondering if the guy really did talk to me or what was happening. I have been a wildlife educator, my degree is in wildlife and I've done wildlife shows and talks, and it just made me sad to see people with a lot of knowledge just kinda not wanting to be present with guests. Otherwise yall are amazing! Best to you!

I stopped shopping here regularly a year ago but I have to come here to pick up certain things the other reptile shop doesn't carry. Today I was reminded why I HATE coming here. I was ready to check out at the front counter as an associate finished helping out another couple. I was within vision of said associate but was ignored. Then said person started helping someone else without even acknowledgeing me. Probably did not help as this associate had both ears plugged with headphones. If the other shop ever gets in the products I need, I will never return here.

If still available I have room for a bearded.
Feel free to give us a call for current pricing, they range from $550-$750 depending on local.
Yes we do.
There are a number of animals we'd be happy to have you interact with. Depending on the animal, of course.
Yes, all sizes fresh and frozen
Check with Natures Edge Wildlife Rescue.
I can't remember if I saw any there.
Pretty much a guarantee, and price will depend on the genetics.
Yes, with weather permitting.
You can check the availability list on their website. They update it pretty frequently.
Stock changes regularly and availability of animals changes throughout the year and varies from year to year. This link has a list that is updated periodically. Must call for pricing. https://www.dfwreptarium.com/animals
Yes. They sell juvenile and adult ball pythons. I purchased my ball python when he was 6 weeks old for about $75 without tax. Hope this answers your question :)
Theu do ive seen then before but calling would save you a trip.
None in stock at the moment-but we certainly have them from time to time. We only deal with captive bred specimens, so they only come available to us every so often.
This forum is for asking questions of other customers. So, your best bet for a question like this is to call them directly, especially because their inventory changes frequently. Posted here, an employee may or may not happen to see your question. In fact, to my knowledge, the only way they will get notified that you asked is if they have reviewed their own store... and the only other way they'll see your question is if they make a habit of going to the maps page and checking if there are any new questions. Which means the businesses themselves rarely repliy to questions asked of the other customers in this forum.
Yes they have mantis'. Their species can vary depending on season and current demand. It's best to go in and ask about what they have and if they don't have what you're looking for maybe inquire about when another order will come in with what you want.
They can probably recommend some species for you that will do that and, if they don't carry any of them, they can probably recommend a place to find them. I would give them a call.
Yes they do, but I would call to verify availability and pricing.
They can provide the tools to get you started but they don't breed snakes.
They did have a Western Hognose when I was last there on 28 September.
Its easier to call them for answers.
Of the 2 I would suggest carpet. There are not many herps that sand is really good for. If you use carpet you should have more than one, so you can take out the dirty one and put a clean one in right away, and then clean and disinfect the old one. You could also just go with paper towel. That's even cheaper and easier to clean
We don't have any of the kits available for the crested geckos, but we would be happy to help you put together one from the materials in the store. As far as Exo Terra cages go, we have a wide variety in stock. And yes, at the moment we do have pacman frogs and carry them regularly.
We do not sell venomous animals. They are not allowed in Collin County and most people probably shouldn't have them.
Yes we have a large variety of corn snakes ranging from $100-$900.
Sold out currently, but should have more coming in soon. It is something we carry whenever available, they do sell quickly. We post an availability list on our FB and website Mondays, you may also check there.
Depends on the species. We recommend coming in so we can get an idea of what would be the best fit for your family since the burden of care would fall on an adult.
The younger snakes are cheaper than the more mature snakes., At $300 for a two and a half foot snake, is considered a good price.
Not sure if they have any of those snakes in stock. But I almost garuntee you can ask them to help you find one or order one for you.
We are still limiting capacity at 50% (40 people), cleaning frequently touched surfaces throughout the day, disinfecting the entire store nightly and recommend masks be worn while shopping.
We do, but do not have any available currently. We post an updated availability list every Monday on our website and Facebook. Keep an eye out there.
If you go on their website they have a list of tarantula's they currently have but I didn't see what you where looking for. I would call them and see if they do sell them and if they could order it for you.
No, we don't carry or promote the sale of either of those monitors. We do have a few other monitors that would be better suited for captive life.
Yes, although we dont have any control as to what we get in weekly as far as color goes.
Yes we were helping other customers at the moment. You were asked to call back closer to the time you wanted to pick up so that we wouldn't have to stop helping the people in the store to get your order ready.
They have a ton of special tanks. Not sure on the zilla. Sorry.
They do, and with varying prices.
We don’t carry “fancy” bearded dragons, that is a petsmart term. We carry higher end colors and morphs. Our dragons start at $100 and go up from there.
Most of our leopard geckos are 4-5 month old.
I was there the other day and they did have some beautiful cornsnakes in stock on display for sale
We got our Sally there. She was around $80 if I remember correctly.
It wouldnt hurt as much as it getting eaten so I'm sure it's fine lmao plus you can feed it to the snake when you're bored of it lol
Do you mean determine the sex of your snakes? You can without hurting the snake and get a definate answer quickly. Check YouTube
We have multiple local and national people we buy from depending on the species.
We have several well started big babies that are roughly 5 months old and one adult anery male.
We have a pair of adult northerns available now. They are $600 each or $1100 for the pair. We also have several big well started baby notherns and an axanthic.
They had them ranging from $20/frog go several hundred. All of the animals seem incredibly well-cared for, so you get what you pay for. The environments necessary are also a little expensive but they have bundles that include everything needed which takes the guesswork out of buying.
We are currently looking for part time help.
They have the reptiles they currently have in stock posted to their Facebook page.
Check their website. Usually they list everything available.
Yes we do! Call up to the store and we can tell you different morphs and prices. Prices start at $59 and go up to around $250. Thank you!
I am not sure Paul most places won't though because they're not sure of the background of the feeders
They do, and yes
Inventory changes daily call the store
At this time we don't have any available. However we are working on a tadpole kit that we will hopefully have ready this summer! Thanks!
Iguanas are actually illegal to keep in Plano, so we do not carry any species
Yes, the have some super young and some around 4 months. Do your research on feeders, bulbs and temps, make sure you know about flooring for beardies.
We will ship but there is no way to check out online yet. Email us and we can assist you.
Yes they do.
No we do not, they are illegal for us to carry in the city of Plano
They can help you with that. These people are experts.
Yes they are open. They so get busy sometimes and can't answer the phone.
I concur. And, if they don't currently have any available, try asking them about ordering one for you. Cost depends on the size of the snake, so a larger one might run closer to $200, whereas a very young snake would be closer to the $100 mark. Specific colors and patterns can also affect the price. But I've found this store to be very reasonable with pricing and very knowledgeable and helpful, as well. They definitely love their reptiles and want them to thrive in their new homes, so they offer a level of support that you might not otherwise get off you purchase elsewhere.
They did have, but i didnt check pricing. I would call them first and perhaps they can ordee for you
If not I'm am sure they know where to get one and can help you out
Hello! Our female panther chameleons start at $175. Our males start at $250. Come by anytime to check them out!
No Nile monitors. We have a resident crocodile monitor named Whisper. Our store also is home to a pair of peacock monitors and a young peach throat monitor. Come by and check us out anytime!
Hi Jamaree! Yes we do have baby leapard geckos! they range from $70 to $200. My name is Trey, please feel free to come in and take a look at our animals anytime.
I would expect them to be. They are not a bank or post office
Hi! Unfortunately we do not. We try to stock mostly captive bred animals, and flap necks and dwarf Fischer's are usually imports.
They start at $69.99 for babies.
I have one for free with proof of proper enclosure and knowledge of there needs and temperament.
We have a variety of pythons and boas in at the moment, please call us for more details. We will be open normal business hours tomorrow, feel free to stop by and meet some of our animals. You will be allowed to handle some of them, but not to feed.
I believe they do hold them to find a buyer call them ask for James
Yes we do
We don't typically get the cheaper varieties in like bahamans or greens, but have Knight Anole varieties in fairly commonly.
You're not supposed to because taking your reptile away from it's normal environment can cause them stress, and if they are carrying anything like mites or illnesses, even if you don't think they are, that could spread to the stores animals. It's better to just keep them at home.
Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day
They do have lids and heating elements as well. Plus the staff is very knowledgeable
Yes, they do a large selection of them actually.
Prices vary according to size, but average is 200 and up.
Yes they do actually they have a large variety of them as well!
They do. You pay per roach. Its a bit expensive
I dont remember but you can call them and ask their awesome people
We have one Witblits available-about 4 months old.
None that i saw, and more than likely not. This is all reptile based pets. So snakes, lizards i don't recall scorpions. Staff is very helpful mostly friendly.
Last time I was there yes. You will have to have pictures of habitat before they will complete transaction.
