This hotel is in serious need of attention and care. We checked in here for a long-term stay for a work assignment because they offered a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite, which worked great for our family. HOWEVER, upon check in - the guy at the front desk was rude. All hotel amenities were closed due to no maintenance staff on site - pool, gym, etc. He could not give us a time frame as to when it would re-open. Additionally, none of these closures were noted on the Marriott Bonvoy app or the website when booking the reservation. When we got to our room, it was in MAJOR need of attention. The hotel was stained with crunch stains, one of the toilets was not working and was covered in stains. When we called the front desk, we were told we had to come down to the front to grab our own plungers because they had not maintenance staff. Our toilet overflowed in one of the rooms. There were stains everywhere - the walls, closet doors, the couch had ink stains, the table light was drawn on with some sort of marker. Needless to say, we did not take off our shoes on the carpet due to the crunching. We decided we would wait until the a.m. to speak to the manager, Monica. Monica was nice, but could not offer any solution. She said her hands were tied until she could get a full time maintenance employee in there. They had been short staffed for quite some time. I am shocked that being part of the Marriott corporation, there isn't a maintenance staff member that could be shared with a nearby property or provide part time coverage. After our first week there, a part time maintenance employee came over to snake one of the drains to fix the plumbing. We unfortunately had to stay here for a month because there were no more extended stay vacancies in the area due to it being a coastal town and summer months. The entire month we had no hotel amenities open other than breakfast. The AC would frequently shut off, take a long time to come back on, the halls were dirty, dingy, dark. There were pot holes larger than your car in the parking lot that you had to dodge when entering and exiting. Additionally, we lost power for a whole day while staying here, as there was work being done to the electrical at the hotel / generator. Again, this should have been discussed before hand or shut down for the day. To top it off, housekeeping was 100% lacking. If we were able to get towels or a refresh once a week, we were lucky. This entire property is just run down. Even the lights on the building name were out. I've seen no-tell motels nicer than this place. Every morning there was another guest at the front desk complaining about plumbing issues, AC issues, electrical issues. It was just non stop. In my opinion, if you can't have maintenance on staff, then the hotel should be closed. Discounts should be given as well, considering amenities were closed. Do not stay here until this place has had a major deep clean, maintenance repair, or complete renovation!

I've been having to stay at this hotel for a few weeks now because my apartment is having work done. The front desk staff and managers are all so nice and accommodating. It's pet friendly. There's complimentary breakfast every morning. The house keepers work their tails off keeping the rooms clean and are always so helpful. Rooms are in good condition and spacious. I had to change rooms and Nellie (one of the managers) worked it out so I would only have to move ALL my stuff across the hall. Which was incredibly helpful seeing as I had so much stuff. I find all the staff I've met to be very pleasant. Thank you for making me feel at home!

Stayed for a week. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are a decent size. Air con in the bedroom is quite noisy at night.

This hotel was perfect. Our family of 4 stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with 2 baths. There was plenty of room for us all, and everything was very clean. Rooms had new beds, including linens and pillows which were excellent quality. Bathrooms were updated, and had the sink/counter outside of the toilet and shower space, which works well when someone wants to get ready for an event. We were all really happy with this Marriott. Highly recommend these suites for accommodations for a family!
