They need more funding. New pet friendly furniture in office area not subject to holding animal messes. Better office equipment. Feel these things are hindrance to efficient operation. I got a beautiful Pit bull mix. Staff kind, courteous, helpful. Did not try to rush us on choice of dog. Help them to help rehome more pets

My daughter wants to be a vegetarian assistant when she gets older. She's 16 and looking to see if there is any job there that she can do to get experience on handling and caring for animals.

I would definitely say start with grooming. She would be able to to be an assistant with your permission. And make some money. They animal welfare in Bethany they are usually actual police. I know 1 is. Not sure of the statuses at the moment. But grooming would give her a handle on animals behavior.

I saw one being turned as a lost kitten

My brother gave me his dog and we've tried our best to shelter him but we have little ones and he get aggressive at times to the point that we are worried. Do you take surrendered dogs?

It is something the shelter is working on! It's a very small shelter only manned by 2 associates right now.

$50 is the cost that covers, the adoption fee, their first round of kitten vaccines and either spaying or neutering procedure.

My neighbor has dog that barks night and day. Constantly. If it is outside its barking like mad. I would go tell her to let the dog in myself but u cant even aproach her house without that dog going nuts. Can u do something?

You have to pay for the adoption fee and sign paper work. You have to at least prove that you want it by showing up.
