I go here whenever I have a spare weekend. It is my favorite place to hike! Beautiful trail and amazing views of Spokane. Though, don't go walking when it rains because the trail has thick mud.

One of the best hikes in the Spokane Valley area. It’s a good hike for hikers of most experience levels, and the views from the Rocks of Sharon and Tower Mountain are absolutely awesome. They’ve improved the parking a bit for the trailhead in Ponderosa, but it’s still best to carpool if possible.

One of my favorite local hikes! I dare you to snowshoe up in the winter! Spectacular views on the East trail. Beware of mosquitos on the west side of the creek in the summer, snakes on the east side in the summer, and their was a lot of deep mud on the east side trail end of March. The west side was still ice and too slick to hike down we had to backtrack down the trail using the east side of Iller Creek only. We hiked all the way to Stephen's pass trailhead on 3/30/21 and the conditions are still ice and snow past the junction trail marker, ice slides on the west side of Iller Creek, and deep mud on the east side. If you read this post in April, I highly recommend using the east side trail and do not attempt to go down trail on the west side until May or later.

Awesome hike, the first have is quite a virticle angle but once you get to the top it overlooks quite a bit of awesome views.
