I’m giving Geek Squad 4 stars because the first time I came in, the analyst was unable to help with my issue. However, the second time I came in, I got a different analyst and my issue was quickly and effectively resolved.

I am a total tech customer and had a simple question for a geek squad member on my Samsung TV which I purchased at that store. I waited 10 minutes & was cut off. Called back & waited another 10 minutes & got a person who had to transfer me to a tech. Waited 50 minutes & finally hung up. Was eventually able to solve the problem on my own, but am wondering why I pay an annual fee for Total Tech support when I can't even get a tech to answer my call!

Was very impressed overall. Last night I noticed that there was a dark spot in the same place of every photo I took with my iPhone 8 Plus. I figured out that there was a piece of dust or dirt stuck inside the camera lens. This morning I took it to the Geek Squad. They checked that they had the part in to replace the camera, and they did. I also needed a battery replacement, so they did that too. In just two hours, I had my phone back with a new camera and new battery. However, it doesn’t quite end there. Right after I left the store, I noticed that my iPhone wouldn’t connect to a cellular network. I restarted and tried everything. I went back into the store and feared the worst (that they damaged my cellular antenna during the repair), but luckily within five minutes they got my cellular back up and running. I was very satisfied with Geek Squad today. They were pleasant and professional, and completed both repairs in a timely manner. When they screwed up my cellular data, they quickly fixed it. First experience at Geek Squad; will be returning because they are an Apple Authorized Service Provider but their services are so much cheaper than Apple’s.

No. They do whole replacement and service phones under geek squad protection plans which they mail off
Since it isn't covered by Geek Squad protection, it wouldn't be something serviceable as far as hardware goes. Now whether software or hardware, you can schedule a reservation to have about 15 minutes to get an idea of what's wrong and repair options and software support.

They'll do repairs on any smartphone! Just make an appointment via their website and you can go in and talk to them about your issue in person, and they'll determine the necessary course of action.
