I went to emergency room for help for pain. I had sciatica for about two weeks. I had taken steroids from urgent care first but really needed pain medicine for at least a few days. Waste of my time and $100 deductable. Im a hard working decent person who really needed help. Instead was given one shot of demeral which i appreciated and muscle relaxant. I realize now the muscle relaxant only made my condition worse. Ive left work two days in a row. Ive been suffering for 3 days like a wounded animal. It was a waste of time and only hurt me more. So much for reaching out for help. They were nice people but that doesnt take someones pain away. Shame the dr has to think everyone there is for drugs instead of honest relief from suffering. The muscle relaxant made me go backwards and im hurting more. Waste of time. So basically the dr made my condition more painful at the cost of a $100. Sad

Salem Medical Center is trying to bill me 400 dollars for the COVID-19 vaccine from over a year ago. They didn't file with my insurance timely enough now they're trying to pin it to me. Fraudulent billing. Steer away from this place. I'll update this if there was a misunderstanding in my previous calls and the bill is rescinded.

My 5 stars goes to the 3rd floor for the respect, care and comfort I felt from every nurse and every house keeper. Even the ones who brought my meals from the cafeteria. I was in situations that I was embarrassed about and they made me feel so comfortable. A few names Bianca, Victoria, Vonetta, Dawn, Kylie, Liz , Alicia, Jeanie and Yevetter and so many more but I don't remember all names. Thank you so much for caring and making me feel like a priority. You are all angels in my eyes.
