I did, and was told I needed one over the phone. But when I drove up, it didn't seem like it mattered.
No
Yes, if you pass. If you fail, you get a red rejection sticker. Hope this helped.
Yes
No documents to make the appointment, you just need your tag number. When you get there you need license, registration, insurance card and I always screen shot my confirmation from MV, sometimes they ask to see sometimes they don't.
My daughter took her test on Feb 28....I have the same type of electric park brake in my Mitsubishi and they said nothing about it....the NJMVC site states the car used for the test has to either allow the test access to be able to reach the regular foot brake or he needs to be able to have clear access to the parking brake....says nothing about if that park brake needs to be manual lever....I was worried about this before I took her for her test but all went well with no issues
Yes. Search on Google for NJMVC Inspection Appointment

Its non negotiable. You 100 percent have to have a center brake. Its for safety purposes.
Currently the Salem DMV is only doing licensing and related. Titles and registrations need to be done at a different location.
Appointments for the month of July. They will attempt to resume walk-ins for Aug on. I suggest calling first to the customer service (888) 656-6867.
No you just walk in and fill out the forms then you stand in line and fill out more forms they will help you
I was there twice in the last month for inspection. No appointment either time. First time I failed with a check engine light on. Second time passed. The second time was 12/31 and Again, no appointment was made. And on another note, I bought FIXD. It's an adapter yoouuu plug into your car, download the app and it will tell you what the check engine light problem is. Mine was minor so within the app I was able to reset the code and turn off the light. I passed.
The MVC does not closed because of snow, you would just take your test in the snow.
