Easily accessible with good access to the shore and other adjacent locations along Lake Lowell. The view is, looking roughly south across the lake you see the undeveloped southshore, treelined and wildlife packed. Just beyond and above that you see farmland and rolling hills. View it while you can, it is slowly being devoured by cancerous and haphazard home building. Furthest still lies the hills and mountains of the Owyhee Front, often experiencing its own weather systems easily viewable from the park. There is a boat ramp, several docks and a swimming area. A long earthen dam provides a convenient place to walk or run, itself leading to another park that seeks to maintain accessible yet protected wildlife areas.

There is swimmers itch in the water and was advised not to go in it or even let it touch our skin.

Absolutely.keep in mind there's a leash law in place. Enjoy this beautiful area.
Lake lowell is big, however it's not considered an ocean...
No rentals near lake. If you drive 150 miles to Perrine Bridge or 2 hrs. They have rentals there. Make a Day Trip Out of it. Beautiful place also Shoshone Falls up the Street Has Rentals too
No restrictions and yes its nice.
