Do not sign with this company. 4 year TMobile customer. When asking why I can't get coverage in West Union SC, they told me they were building a tower. Now, when I asked when they'd have it build and operational, they didn't have answer. Most of the time they do barring emergency repairs. But just an FYI, they say they don't know because they most likely aren't even building it to provide a projection. As a matter of fact, there are articles from TMobile employees saying that it's the new company line to pad numbers and shirk problems they won't solve. That tower you're waiting on is most likely whatever they're partnering with Space X to do. You see the appeal, between now and that launch, they don't put up any towers and feed you whatever line they want. They will still charge you and do nothing to compensate you or make suree you have service. West Union SC, Verizon has service on the mountain. Even the reps at this store told me I'll only get service if I leave TMobile for another carrier. Also, don't expect baller promos 4years in, this company doesn't like loyalty, they like it when people betray their carriers for TMobile, and keeping the money regardless of service. Get robbed for something better then they offer. Updated: there are articles surfacing from TMobile staff saying they are using this specific excuse and others like it to "pad their numbers and eliminate problems with customers without providing any solutions. If I had to guess, this whole "putting a tower up in your area" thing is actually TMobile customers who can't get service being forced to wait on the TMobile/Space X venture to provide service. If you have this issue, look into a lawsuit. Bottom line is they are charging you money for something they don't plan on giving you.

They can't lock an already unlocked phone. However, if you bring an already locked device from another carrier because you're trying to get out of paying that carrier you got it from, of course it's going to stay locked until you pay it off. Either buy unlocked out of the gate like I do, or you pay payments which could equal up to a thousand dollars. In the end, it's your choice either way, but you'll still have to pay for a phone you bought on an installment plan. Tmobile is the best carrier option out of the big 3, especially if you have military family. Oh, and free Netflix.

Yes You Can However, Customer Care is not very good when you call them. I would suggest going to the store with any problems you have.
