I love Benihana! But when you go with people who never been, it’s a hard experience. It’s not MY job to explain you get charged for everything a la carte’…. That’s for the host to explain or at least ask has everyone been here before just to get that understanding out first. Other than that small issue… food was great , wait time wasn’t long, and the chef was friendly!!

Had a great time here. They seemed short-staffed so please be patient with them. Still had a great experience and the Chef was great! We will definitely be back and try some of the other stuff we didn't get to. Their menu just makes me want everything 😋 We got the hibachi but pictured is the dragon roll 🐉 and the volcano roll 🌋

Our reservation was 6:45, we were sat at 7:30… the chef didn’t come to our table until 9:20. (That’s almost 2 hours after being sat at the table) They only have 2 servers and 3 chefs. I understand being understaffed but it wasn’t handled well at all. (This is NOT the servers or chefs fault). Honestly, I expected the bill to come out with a discount and it didn’t. I asked our server for the manager, the manager came over and I asked if there was anyway I could get a discount. He nodded and grabbed the check and walked away. After another 10/15 minutes he came back. It did have a discount and it was satisfactory. But I feel I shouldn’t have had to ask. I also think the manager should have apologized or something instead of blaming everyone else. Side note: I realized once we were in the car that we didn’t even get the desserts.

Food was great except the flavor was kind of bland on the steak. The hibachi chef kept saying happy birthday although it was an anniversary event and did the rice heart which was a nice gesture but wasn't all that exceptional for the price which is mostly for the entertainment. The food could be just as good if not better elsewhere for less and with more privacy for a special night. Probably won't go again but we will see.
