Sunny days after the rain and my dog loves the mud. What dog doesn't? I had a different opinion last year, however with my new dog, love the park. Dog happy, I'm happy.

Medium sized with good folks. In the winter or after a rain it can be quite muddy. It's got a spigot for water but the bowls are often gone, likely due to transient population.

A great park. Huge space covered in small bark chips. Only downside is it courtesy maintained. Meaning. You have to pick up your own dogs refuse. Which is how it is everywhere so it confuses me that others have issues watching their dog and picking up after them.

Questions & Answers

When are little dogs allowed (10 lb.+-)? Is there ever a special time when I could feel safe to bring my little dog; while there are only other little dogs allowed there? Thank you for your time and help.

No special times. All dogs are allowed when the park is open. With that being said, I wouldn't worry about bringing your dogs. Dogs of all sizes tend to get along there, or they break into size groups when there's a lot of dogs. If you're truly worried, you might want to try out the fields park as it's split between small and large dogs. It's about a mile away from Wallace.
