My experience, judge for yourself. 10+ years flatbed experience, 0 tickets/crashes, CSA Score 0, 6 yrs at previous company. Was going to sign on because a dedicated account goes right by my house (0 out of route miles) Was told base of .54cpm, 48 hours off on weekends and 2500-3000 miles per week. Was going to sign the commitment form and the pay was .52….wait, what!!!??! Recruiter then tried to say the tarp pay makes it blah, blah, blah. Asked what the average weekly miles were, was told 2200…wait, What!!!??? WHat happened to 2500-3000 Then was told the sign on bonus and they even bumped it for me. .only covered a couple months if you do the math. The phone conversations were always squirrelly saying trainer pay was .03cpm then magically jumped to .15 . Never could get the dates right for my coming aboard. I would tell them a date, then they would try for another. Took a tour to get the feel. Met 4-5drivers and each acted like they were walking on egg shells as well as me having to wait in the closed off foyer for 15 minutes before my tour. Just got off the phone 20 min prior and told them when I would be there. Ummm I’m a potential driver.. heard what I believe was someone in safety having a fit. Was told that the pay scale was less than a year old which I replied “you were only paying drivers .47??” All of this before I was even hired on, couldn't imagine if I had worked there.

The only reason I give a bad review is for the oay. Called and spoke to a friendly recruiter, but when I heard the base pay is only 48cpm.....in 2022....??? Give me a break. Most companies are paying closer to 60cpm, and someone like me with 5yr+ exp... I was at 48cpm like 4yr ago, and my base now is 60cpm just running AZ-TX. No wonder there's a driver shortage. Companies just don't wanna pay! (And some other things. Besides the pay, they were polite on the phone and only run central Midwest. Definitely very entry level pay in today's economy.

Would be best to contact Rebecca Anderson at 417- 829-1265, I know you can drive your own truck, but not sure about trailer.
Yes and I got bonuses for completing orientation, 6 & 12 months. You hustle you get miles.
Trucks governed at 65 MPH.
There is a nation wide data base now, and most companies do hair follicle testing as well now.
All dry van and flatbed and no touch losing and unloading.
Yes.
Jeremiah is right, Josh! The majority of our trucks are automatic and all of our trucks will be automatic by 2020. Rebecca A. Manager - Marketing & Communications
Hey, Josh! Time with a trainer can vary on a person's experience. However, if the person just graduated Class A CDL school, he or she can expect to be with a trainer for eight weeks. The last week training occurs around the Strafford terminal. The trainee is placed with our Driver Trainer Manager to focus on backing and work on any other skills that need perfecting before going solo. -Rebecca A.
