Good central location in downtown, the relatively small fitness center has a good selection of free weights, along with treadmills and elliptical. The selection of the restaurant was surprisingly large, but given its proximity to the convention center and catering needs, makes sense. I wish room service were available later, but compared to many other hotel restaurants since the pandemic, the Fresno DoubleTree's is impressive. Food was cooked well and priced fairly. No issues with the room itself - clean and comfortable, if not especially "new" feeling.

The place is nice, but they never did housekeeping the entire week I was there. They asked when I checked in how I often I wanted my room done and said every other day would be fine. There was a very nice pile of garbage waiting for them after check out. Not intentionally, just from accumulation.

Amazing customer service, clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The ambience is relaxing. I give 4 stars because I got woken up by the train near by and the AC fans out side of the windows. After I put my noise canceling headphones I slept great! I wish I had chosen a room on the left side of the elevator or anywhere in the opposite side of the pool / elevator.

Excellent stay! Good hospitality has been had to find at hotels since the start of the pandemic, but this place wow'd me. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and professional. The lobby/bar/restaurant area, elevators, parking area, and guest room were always super clean. The location downtown is close to everything in Fresno and they have free parking! Security is low key but present, making the hotel feel safe. The heating and air in the guest rooms is central so there are no noisy wall units. Individual thermostat heated and cooled the room quickly and quietly. I had a couple of minor issues that were quickly and happily resolved. If I had to criticize anything, the beds were just OK. It was the highest priced hotel in Fresno during my visit, but I feel like I got what I paid for.
