I'm a traveling sleep disorders technician staying in Herrington (about 30 minutes north of this restaurant). My parents suggested I drive over to sample this place with them this evening when I was unexpectedly alerted I was going to have the night off... they drove up from Wichita to join me. Comfort food that hit the spot... especially the banana cream pie!

Oh my gosh, what a great decision to stop for dinner on the way home from a long trip. We loved the meal, enjoyed the staff banter, and those pies, all those lovely, tasty home made pies.

Food was great. Service was great. Very reasonable prices. Great place to go get something to eat when your campsite is rained out. We had breakfast - bacon nice and crisp - hashbrowns nice and crisp - biscuits and gravy were good - pancakes and eggs were great. Would definitely recommend.

Great traditional diner. Extremely pleasant and helpful waitress. Old, but clean and well kept interior. All American comfort food made when you order it. The "Star Burger" (burger/ham/bacon/cheese) was a good choice, served hot and fresh with tots, a little salad before and a little chocolate cake after, a drink, and all for $10.
