Today my husband and I made the trip to this cemetery to see the grave of his birth mother, as he was adopted. We had found her grave from a grave site website. This was a long awaited journey and we were so disappointed that we were unable to find the grave because the cemetery has not been taken care of. Limbs were down and mowing was much needed as you couldn't even see the stones embedded in the ground. Weeds, grass and other "things" have grown over them. The only way to actually see any of them you had to dig around or have a weed eater go around them. Unfortunately we didn't bring any of that with us. We drove 3 hours to get there only to come away very disappointed. How can your community treat those people buried there in such a way that family and friends can't locate them. Someone needs to clean their act up.

I enjoy walking around this cemetery in the morning.

Rest in peace Mr. Hawkings.

There is no caretaker, it was abandoned years ago and found a mass gave for the babies buried. So upkeep was voluntary but the city may do it now. A separate area for black deceased. I searched online to locate a grave. Public service logged in locations so you can locate someone. I found my grandmother this way. The people who go to work out , walk their dog and everything else have no respect for the fact “It is a cemetery people!”

Most of the head stones for military are white stand up tiny concrete head stones and flat concrete headstones. Also there is a assigned lot for veterans. You can look at the front gate it will show you how to find the area your looking for. It's mapped out.
The number on that bullitin board you may can reach out to them
I had heard and see signs that the City of Cincinnati took over management of the cemetery.
No. This cemetery is administratored by the City of Cincinnati. You may want to call City Hall.
