4Next day appointment was available, on time, thoroughly cleaned out vent and complete dryer unit. Neat, personable service tech. I would choose them again for future service needs.

Christian was great--on time, very friendly, and knowledgeable. He did a great job cleaning out our not-so-efficient dryer vent and mentioned the DryerJack roof vent. I decided to have him install one. I'm very pleased with the DryerJack--my dryer's drying time has been greatly shortened and more lint is visible on the dryer's lint screen. :)

Hi Ed! Just a note of thanks. Nathan was here, right on schedule and did a great job explaining the best and most efficient way to clean my vents. Nathan was very professional and meticulous. Before he left he gave some good advice and recommendations to keep the dryer operating at top efficiency. Well done and thank you!

No, according to the building codes, dryer vents shall not have screens at their termination point. Screens will clog with the dryer vent and once clogged will shut down the airflow to the dryer and also build up the lint in the vent, which poses a serious fire hazard. Dryer Vent Wizard has an alternative solution for this problem.
The dryer vent allows the moisture, excess lint, and carbon monoxide from a gas dryer to be expelled to the outside. This is important so that the dryer can remain cool and the dangerous items can be removed from the home. Moisture will cause mold. Lint is combustible when exposed to extreme heat or fire and carbon monoxide is poisonous and a silent killer.
No, dryers cannot be vented into enclosed areas per the building codes. All dryer vents are to terminate to the outside of a home or structure. A vent that is blowing into enclosed areas increases the moisture in these areas leading to mold and mildew, as was as lint build up. If the dryer were to catch on fire, the fire would exit the vent into those areas and set the house on fire.
Yes, if that's the shortest distance outside the home. Dryer vents can be installed vertically on the roof. Many homes and multi-unit facilities have dryer vents installed to the roof through a roof vent. Our technicians have experience in cleaning and installing roof vents.
The exhaust system of a clothing dryer has two different colloquial names, dryer duct, and dryer vent. The two names are interchangeable depending on the region in which you live or which manufacturer made your dryer. Whether you call it a duct or a vent, we are here to get the lint out! Contact us today to schedule a cleaning for your dryer duct or dryer vent.
Besides making your dryer run more efficiently and preventing dryer fires, consumers can look forward to lower energy bills as a result of the dryer not having to work so hard and long to dry clothes. Consumers save $18-$24 monthly on average as a result of reduced dryer times. In addition, clothes don't wear out as quickly when they don't have to go through multiple cycles.
Since each household is unique, an estimate is provided after Dryer Vent Wizard technicians perform a full diagnostic inspection. This inspection identifies the extent of the dryer vent problem and provides the basis of the estimate and recommended solutions.
According to the U.S. Fire Administration's National Fire Incident Reporting System, there are approximately 15,500 dryer fires every year, resulting in as many as 34 deaths, 430 injuries, and $209 million in property damages. In order to protect your home from a dryer fire, we recommend having your vents cleaned and inspected at least once a year. If you notice any warning signs, call our experienced professionals today.
There can be many warning signs that indicate an elevated risk of fire or malfunction, these include longer dryer times, clothes or dryer being hot to the touch, excessive lint buildup, musty smelling clothes, or the dryer shutting off mid-cycle and displaying an error code.
Typically, when it comes to an issue with your clothes not drying, the dryer is not the problem. Vent disrepair, blockages such as bird nests or lint accumulation, and improper venting configurations are all possible causes of poor dryer function. The experts at Dryer Vent Wizard can determine the cause of your dryer issue and provide you with an estimate and recommended solutions that will not only increase the efficiency of your dryer, but remove any potential fire hazards as well.

Too much. Its a joke.
Hi Paul, the short answer is "it depends". There are a lot of factors that need to be considered, without seeing the space ourselves it would be difficult to give an informed answer to that question. A quick consultation with an experienced technician will certainly help. Get in touch to schedule time online or by phone.
