5 star hotel without the price! If you need a place to rest your head in or near Beloit, KS…HIGHLY recommend! Very basic but very clean. It’s small town, U.S.A. so check your ‘tude at the door. We have stayed at Marriott properties that were not this well-maintained. We checked-in at what I would call late night. I am terrible with making note of names but the gentleman who helped us was very polite and very professional. Let’s be honest, sometimes when you show up at a hotel around the midnight hour, the staff seems dead inside. Not the case here! Don’t get the wrong idea, he wasn’t like overly chipper…I mean who wants THAT late at night. I am also not very diligent about remembering to snap some photos for reviews. I did take a couple before we left this morning. My intention was to show that the carpet was in good shape….walk-in shower vs. tub. (which for some reason feels less skeevy to me) No hot breakfast, which is made clear on the website and was explained upon check-in. I was pleasantly surprised at the selections that were offered though. Kids weren’t with us this time but I think they wouldn’t have complained. My only complaint is the price was a little higher than I would expect with Super 8. But I suppose one would claim “inflation” and/or “covid” for a raise in price. (when preparing to book the reservation, expected under $100….was $111…2 queen size bed room)

They refused to let my daughter stay without paying an extra $250! All due to booking with a 3rd party! Never have I ever heard of such a charge! Ridiculous! Would never stay here!

Decent clean rooms, newer modern fixtures. A upper mid level stay at a decent price for a rural Kansas market. They had a cold grab and go breakfast option in the morning but also provided hot biscuits and gravy from behind the counter if you asked. They actually were not half bad. I would stay here again.

It was very late at night when I stopped in for a room. A very smooth check in and a warm welcome after driving for 15 hours was just what I needed. The hotel was spotless and in excellent condition. Very quiet room as well.
