The irondequot police will not send an officer to just sit for 5 minutes on whitlock to watch every other car fly down the street all blowing through the stop sign where many families live with very small children who play in there front yard , but will instead come 2 cars deep , maybe more , to chase a kid on a 50cc mini bike. Are you serious right now. Priorities are out of order IPD.. Very discapointed in you right now. Shameful

Thank you Officer VanDeMar! We have a clothing store. And today 2 guys including the getaway driver got away with around 10 jeans worth in total $600 at least. As soon as the getaway car drove away from the store, there was a cop outside. Without hesitation Officer VanDeMar made a u-turn and chased the getaway car. He caught up with the car and the two men that were inside the car ran away on foot. Officer VanDeMar then came back to our store and returned back the stolen jeans he recovered from the getaway car. Hopefully the suspects will get caught. But most importantly we got our merchandise back because of that brave officer.

Totally in violation of unmarked police vehicle in New York State law . Improper use of them.using them for routine traffic stop to give tickets. It’s not allowed in ny state.very disappointed in your department.i hope y’all do better bc that’s a consern for public safety not knowing who is stoping u just bc a car got lights it’s not necessary to stop bc can’t be identified as a police vehicle.
