I call 911 re bums on street corners asking for money. They're creepy and scare me. The cops have been wonderful. God bless all u guys. Thanks for grabbing the gun creeps in the park.

I have lived all over the country. New Jersey, New York, Colorado, California, Pennsylvania.. Rochester Police are by FAR the most amazing police department! Since moving to Rochester I am finally not afraid when I see a police officer. I feel safe when they are around and I know that if they are driving behind me I don't have to worry about them pulling me over to steal my money.if you come to Rochester you will never see a police officer harassing a driver on the side of the road, and believe me- you go down to NJ and this is ALL THEY DO! Rochester police care more about fighting crime and keeping the city safe for us then to harass the city residents that are just trying to get from point A to point B. I did have an engagement with a Rochester police officer recently and it was PERFECT. He was absolutely amazing. Great job Rochester Police

What a joke of a law enforcement agency. A bicyclist gets run over by a careless driver who gets off without any sort of citation or punishment. Congratulations. Your department is worthless in the eyes of the rest of the world.

I appreciate the job you do but I was disheartened on 2/24/20 when I saw a city bus blow thru a red light heading north crossing Ridge near the kodak center, in front of a squad car with 2 officers at around 2000hrs. Then cars doing 50 m.p.h.+ on that same road . Don't you guys do v and t anymore ? Riding a motorcycle in Rochester must be nothing short of a nightmare.
