My stylist - Tishea, is truly an expert! My hair is very long. Mostly, I do my own styling but the older I become, doing my own hair gets a little trying. So, I searched for a stylist who had experience, some one I can trust but mainly would not look at my skin color and conclude she would not be able to style my hair. In 2018, I made an appointment at Red Chair Salon with Tishea. When I arrived at my appointment she did not go into shock, she treated me very kindly. Tishea examined my hair, talked with me about the type of products I use. She also inquired about my hair care techniques. Tishea also described the smoothing product she uses and the application process. In November of 2018, Tishea applied the Kevin Murphy smoothing treatment on my hair. Compared to the smoothing treatment I had a couple of years prior, KM became an instant hit with me. Because I wear it so well, July 2019 I went back for another application. Took my friend 3 hours after her appt time for her to get her hair done. I find it rude when stylists put their friends before customers. We were there for a total of 4 hrs and 45 min out of our day AND the tattoo place next door had some kind of teen party going on, blasting music through the walls. To top it off, the girl doing hair was completely unprofessional. I found the whole thing to be just plain tacky.

ThIs is the best salon! Tishea the owner who is also my stylist has improved my hair dramatically! I’ve been going to her for 4 years now and would never go anywhere else! She does amazing extensions as well! Have had extensions for 3 years and my hair has actually improved! No loss of hair at all. She has a great personality and really knows her stuff!
