Really enjoyed our meal at the i45 diner. We had what I would classify as comfort food. Nachos supreme for an appetizer, tasty. For the entree I had the southwest pork chops which I would definitely have again. For the vegetables I had fried green beans and okra which I really enjoyed. The wife had a plate of chicken tenders which she enjoyed and both of my sons had hamburgers. Everyone left satisfied and happy with their meals.

AMAZING, and dirt cheap. I-45 Diner puts a certain nearby chain to shame. I've wanted to visit since moving to the Houston area in 2018, but never got around to trying them until my goddaughter brought some home a few weeks ago. Up early with errands to run, I ordered hash browns and bacon over the phone and went in to pick it up. I-45 Diner is at the leading edge of the strip mall on the corner of 45 and Cypresswood, in front of Topgolf and facing Spring High. Walking in, I was briefly taken aback at how massive the space is, that a guy rudely (typical of the area) told me to close the door from the cold... I then proceeded to reopen the door to fidget with my car keys because I'm a troll of epic proportions. Back to the restaurant, my order was waiting at checkout in the back of the dining room in a back and a white to-go box--shredded hash browns and two strips of bacon fried to perfection for only $7. Hot and fresh, I stuffed my face in my vehicle after gesturing that guy on the way out. This is an amazing facility—truly an old-school diner that was good and packed at 9:00 in the morning. I'll definitely return to I-45 Diner to try more items.

This was my first time here. Seated quickly, service was with a smile. The establishment was clean and the food was out in a timely manner considering we had a party of six. The food was great, I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. I have to say, my dish was very good. Tried the pot roast omelet, that was good, peppers and onions cooked into the eggs. Biscuits and gravey were delicious. Only draw back to me was they automatically added gratuity to the check. I usually tip well and appreciate the option. Other than that, great spot for some filling breakfast.

Super cute place!! It's one of those places I had always passed up but never gone, today we finally made it!! Mini got the kids special and I got the pancake combo topped with strawberries and bananas We came on a Saturday and sat at the bar by ourselves, she'a big on those swivel chairs! Seating- No wait time, surprisingly at 11am on a Saturday Ambiance-casual, similar to IHOP/Denny's/Black Bear Vibes Service-Good, I drink water like no body's business and it kind of gauges how the server is taking care of us. They were on top of it! And super duper friendly Food-IMO the pancakes were okayyyyy, I prefer lil moist and fluffy! Overall, quick and easy :) and we had a nice brunch

It's happened to me there with the bad tasting water multiple times. If they're using a fountain gun for all their drinks, maybe that hose needs to be changed or cleaned. It tastes like a garden/rubber hose. Take an entry course of partical physics and you'll see what you taste and smell are the actual substance that's airborne or what you're consuming, like in this case rubber. Here's the thing people, if that water is going in your cup, it's going in everything else made in that place. I specifically told them what to do to fix the issue being that I'm a plumber. I left them my card. I hope they get there stuff together.
I've only been a few times but both times were Awesome Huge portions you will not leave out hungry.
I would bet that they except checks and money orders but accept cash, debit and credit.
