Facility is clean and secure. Was pleased while Nest owned it, but Public Storage purchased recently and it's time to move on. During the transition in December 2020, Nest took their payment, and Public Storage ALSO took a payment. They gave me the run around to get that reimbursed. Called, left unreturned voicemails, emailed, and every time I'd get someone they handed me off to another voicemail I didn't hear back from. After spending way too much time on it, they finally credited that payment. That's all great, and not why the 1-star review. Then when I tried to purchase a second unit a few months ago, it was incredibly difficult. I live out of town and have two other family members on the account with me to access the unit. But, they would require me to drive to Salem and sign in person to add to what I already have there. Seemed strange, and I didn't understand, which again, doesn't deserve 1-star. It's the fact that nothing can ever be explained. "It's just the way it is..." Finally, the last straw is receiving an email from PS this morning, 6 months in to them owning the facility, and my already higher rate than the surrounding facilities payment, is increasing over 32%. I've always heard investing in storage facilities is good money...
