We were concerned that our 2011 Toyota Carolla with 109,000 miles on it could be developing transmission problems. So we took it into Terry's on Monday for a checkup. They called us Tuesday afternoon. They went through everything they checked and for each item gave a brief summary of the results. There were no problems found. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. Got the vehicle inspected here after it broke down. Told me the rear differential needed to be replaced and the cost would be $4800 (including labor) to replace it with a used one. Took the truck to a different shop who quoted me at $3900 (including labor) for a new rear differential. They are trying to rip off their customers. Do your own research and shop around. Terry's is most likely overcharging you.

When dealers search parts, it checks all other dealers inventories. If the local dealer didn’t have it, their system will check all other dealers inventory. If no other dealers have it, they check the regional distribution centers. It sounds like no local dealers had the part so they ended up having to ship one in from a Ford regional warehouse.
Yes, but those have frame issues and the Auto Saver is not powerful enough to stop the frame rot on those. It will do a great job on the body panels and the box, but it won't do a ton for the frame if it has the original one.
595 plus tax installed. It takes about 1.5 - 2 hours to install.
