Not gonna lie, the first appointment I went to I was thinking that he was just going to be like any other doctor who does the bare minimum. I initially came to this office to simply get a referral to a hematologist to get treated for my anemia. Dr. Fahkouri started off with doing a basic check up and ordered blood tests. I had a follow up appointment a few days later, where he told me my hemoglobin level was at 6.8 and gave me a referral to the hematologist to start iron infusions. But at this appointment, Dr. Fakhouri also asked me a few more thorough questions and asked what my symptoms were. And he ordered more blood tests. When I went back for a follow up appointment a few days later, my level had dropped from 6.8 to 6 without any real explanation... That's when he told me that he thought maybe an autoimmune disease could've been causing my anemia. He also let me know that with the last blood tests he tested a specific panel for autoimmune diseases and that it came back positive. So he gave me a referral to a rheumatologist. For the past 2 months, I've been getting treatments and my hemoglobin levels are steadily improving. And after 2 months, and after many tests with the rheumatologist, I was diagnosed with Lupus. As horrible as it was getting a diagnosis, it was a huge relief to finally get answers for how I've felt for years. I'm now on medication to help with the Lupus symptoms. And now I know what things I should and shouldn't do to try and avoid bad flare ups. I've been to many PCP over the years and they've never tried to find the cause of my symptoms. They've never even wondered if maybe my anemia was being caused by something else. But Dr. Fahkouri, ran one simple blood test and one specific panel. And once he saw that maybe there could be something else there, he gave me referrals to the correct specialists. We need more doctors like this.

My husband went in for a sinus infection. He was told he didn't have a sinus infection and that it was a virus and it needed to run its course. 2 days later feeling worse and developing new symptoms, he went to another urgent care who diagnosed him with a sinus infection. Made my husband suffer and got stuck paying 2 co-pays because the doctor couldn't do his job the first time!

If you can avoid this place do so. Front desk has no idea what they’re doing and they are really rude. People are right on top of each other so if you’re not sure if you’ve got Covid you will definitely get it there.

Yes, they do Covid testing. It's always better to make an appointment, but you wouldn't get turned away as a walk in. BEST DOCTOR EVER!!!
