It was a scenic ride out to Fort Lincoln.

I've wanted to ride the trolley for years, and I finally did, it was really enjoyable! It takes you out to Fort Lincoln and the mandan earth lodges, and museum, if you ride in the hot part of summer I would bring a bottle of water with you, I did and was glad I did. You can purchase snacks and drinks at the Fort Commissary when you get out there.

Sign says: $9.00 round trip, Children under 5 free. Departs 1, 2, 3, 4 pm daily.
1-4pm at the Third Street Station. 1:30-4:30pm from Fort Lincoln. Price is 9 dollars for adults and free for children 5 and under.
$12 for ages 5 and up round trip. $9 for one way trip.
It's open everyday from 1pm-4pm, weather permitting! Yes, you can buy tickets there, that's what we did! Not sure about little dogs. You will have to call about that!
