They had a sociopathic bully of a pastor more concerned with social media fame than Jesus for a long time. They ended up firing JD Hall but covered up his abuse and crime until they no longer could. Protestia is also still a website run by them, and the vitriol they say is no less horrific.

No. The congregation does,; not a special board... by a vote. It's quite easy to fire a pastaor in this church. All it takes is a business meeting.
Sunday school starts at 9:45 and worship service starts at 10:45.
