Worst post office ever ! I’m constantly missing certain pieces of mail.. I’ve tried calling and reporting this and no help.

Had to send out prepaid boxes and there was a line so customers waiting on the one worker who was the only one at a slot. Was told by a worker who wasn’t at a slot to leave them by the end of the window, and that he’d get to scan them when he can. I said no and I needed my receipt and for them to be scanned in front of me…. If I left them there they could’ve been stolen and I would’ve had no of proof of shipment and the possibilities go on…..

I never write reviews, but this is so frustrating, infuriating, and unacceptable. I've been waiting a full year for an important legal document. Was assured by the USPS tracking system that my document was delivered to my door. Never received this important document and they still cannot answer my question: Where the hell is my document?! We went to the post office and asked why haven't I received this document? They said it is not in the system. LIES, because I've gotten the letter that my document was approved and was sent out for delivery. Why even set it as "delivered" if I never received it?! Someone has been opening our packages as well. At this point I don't care if it's a neighbor or a former USPS delivery person. Soon as I catch them on camera, there will be a police report. So disappointing.

For the past month my packages would get scanned as "Out for delivery" and then would update to one of the following - "Could not deliver until the address is verified " , "Attempted and could not access delivery area" , or the "Your package will be arriving late" ONLY for me to have to either call down to the New Rochelle post office on Main Street or drive down there to pick up my items that had the CORRECT ADDRESS. How do you scan something as out for Delivery and only delivery one of the two items? I mean, it's a disgrace. I use to work at the distribution center and what is happening at the New Rochelle office is a mind blowing. I now have yet ANOTHER package that was scanned out to be delivered on 2/7/2022 and they only delivered ONE OF THE TWO PACKAGES. I am upset, not to mention I have Informed Delivery and I track everything that I order to my home. The time is now 6:51am on 2/8/2022. I am going to call and see what they say and if they don't pickup I have to drive down to the post office to pick up my package. This is highly unacceptable and sad. I get how overwhelmed it can get, but the service is crazy.

I always find when I treat the staff here with respect, they are respectful to me.
No Box section closes at 6:30 daily and 4pm on Saturday no access on Sundays
You should be able to if you are no longer living in that area, but you do have to give your contacts you new address also it would be good to give it to the post office so the can forward your mail untill it is set in the system.
