Joey is an excellent realtor. As a first time home buyer the process was a little daunting. However, Joey made everything incredibly easy. Zillow rates themselves just 1 out of 5 stars in the KC area on the accuracy of their Zestimates. That's because a national company does not have access to the local intel that a local REALTOR can provide. A REALTOR has tools to give the most accurate estimate for your home. I've personally seen them fluctuate $40,000 up or down from a home's actual value.
Interview several REALTORS. Comfortable communication is important throughout the process. One important question to ask is whether they're full-time or a part-time REALTOR. There are way more part-time agents out there. You want to partner with someone that will be available when you need them. It can be tough and very frustrating when they're working their "other jobs", so always ask first.
A comfortable time frame when using a lender is 30 to 45 days from the time an offer is accepted. It can move even faster when paying with cash.
