Hospice care is supposed to provide you with support and comfort for a dying relative. Trustbridge instead adds to your stress and frustration. When you sign up, you are promised things like a call center that is always available to help, a primary nurse who is your consistent go-to, and 24 hour crisis care. In reality, your parent could be in need of medical help or guidance and when you call, you hear "the estimated wait time is 22 minutes." When you finally get someone on the phone, they offer little ("call back in an hour if she is still having seizures...")and it takes 5-6 calls before they finally agree to send out a nurse. We waited up to 5 hours for a nurse to arrive- which is a long time if your loved one is struggling. My mom had 4 different primary nurses in a 6 months span and went over a month without a primary nurse at all. There is no consistency in care. You have to repeat the medical history and concern to each new stranger that answers the phone or arrives in your home. It is essentially impossible to qualify for crisis care and when we finally did on my mother's dying day, I got a call 10 minutes before the first shift telling me they had no one to cover the shift. Many of the actual nurses are absolute angels, caring and compassionate and everything you anticipate in Hospice Care- unfortunately it takes a miracle to get one of those nurses in your home. Many of the nurses unfortunately are per diem or pool nurses who really don't belong in this line of work and offer little knowledge or expertise in end of life care. Staff turnover is a major issue because this company has systemic and pervasive dysfunction at the corporate/management level. Every service we got came with a long and frustrating battle. Homebased Hospice care from Trustbridge was a nightmare and nothing like what they promise you at sign up time. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

Awful place with heartless incompetent staff. Don't bring your loved ones here. I promise you will regret it. They were so ghetto and rude. The only time they were polite was when I was signing my loved one up. They get the money and don't care. It's disgusting and when I say HEARTLESS I mean HEARTLESS!!! All they did was throw papers in my face not even 5 minutes after I lost my family member. Just a horrible experience I wouldn't wish on anyone

Trustbridge hospice facility was such a huge comfort for myself, my siblings and especially for our brother who was patient there. Each nurse, Frank, Leif, Jennifer, Marcia and any staff who cared for our brother did so with compassion and competance. The respect shown our family was exemplary. We thank Trustbridge for making our brothers homegoing one of gentility and peace. God bless you all.
