I've been a member of the homeless community for four years coming up in May. My association with Journey Ministry in Davison, My Brothers Keeper at the river, and Carriage Town Ministries has been a life saver. Holy Angels warming center and box lunches,the list goes on....

Questions & Answers

Do you all accept vehicles not in good condition as donations. Actually the best things are the engine and the body. It need brakes, struts, things like that.

They refer you to the organizations that do. And that's if you are a resident. If you are in need or know someone who is in need of shelter call the Carriage Town Family Center

They give bus passes to and from work only and a few resources for housing, you pretty much have to search for housing yourself!

The donations that are most helpful are blankets, plus size coats for women (2x-3x) socks, plus size boots (9 to 11), soap, toothbrushes, tooth paste. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and consideration.

Why don't you state that this number isn't a universal number for both men and women? When you call this number it is sending you to the men's house only and there are no women available at this number period.

Hi Lisa, here is a link to our financial accountability page https://www.carriagetown.org/financial-accountability-1. Our IRS 990 is there, our annual audit, and our annual report to donors. Over the years, the range of total budget spent on salaries has ranged between 30 and 45%. Melissa, there is no charge to stay at Carriage Town for Emergency Shelter
