If I could leave less than a one star review I would. My son is renting a home through Marketplace Homes. On our arrival to the home we found it to be absolutely filthy with dirt, mold, insects… and it appeared to have been vacant for at least a year due to the size of the cobwebs. The property manager stated it had been cleaned within the previous 2 weeks which anyone with eyes could see was untrue. I would not have let my dogs walk inside the house. It took at least 3 of us cleaning for 8 hours to bring it to an acceptable level of cleanliness. The problems have, since then, continued to multiply. There has been an active plumbing leak under the house for at least 3 months. The AC went out and it was 85 degrees inside the house. My son had to buy a window unit due to slow response by property management. For months there was water leaking through a wall into the house and the kitchen flooring and cabinets were all removed by a work crew. The kitchen is virtually non usable other than the stove. They have been washing dishes in the bathtub! Apparently the bulk of the flooring needs to be replaced due to excessive moisture and asbestos was discovered under the carpet. The kitchen subfloor has X’s marked on it by the work crew as places NOT to step because there is a risk of falling through the floor! His rent, on a house less than half the size of mine, is higher than my mortgage! I would NOT recommend renting from this group. There are clear and definite safety and health issues which are taking multiple emails/calls and an excessively long time being dealt with. And a professional company should UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES make a customer feel like they are bothering them with their valid complaints. One has to wonder just how long the property managers would accept having to live in these conditions?Rent at your own risk but I’d steer clear of this group.

I have given Marketplace Homes a 5 star review solely due to the professionalism of Ms. TAMIKA WATSON. I have been a resident with Marketplace Homes for 1yr now. It had not been a good experience such as being transferred to different departments with no response and no returned phone calls., Until I began speaking directly to Ms. TAMIKA WATSON. she did an amazing job helping me with my maintenance repairs needs, Rental Issues and Leasing Issues problems. Tameka truly cares about her clients and they're problems they are experiencing with the company. This management company needs to have more caring an compassionate staff members as Tamika Watson.
